we arrived in LA...hmm so this is how america sky looks like...about the same..haha

I got to drive a Nissan Sentral to work.hehe...carpool ppl :)they are also my navigator,parking sensor and alarm.Won't know wat to do without them..thankyou so much for pardoning my disastrous parking =) Oh..we have lessons to learn abt the american working culture

During off days we will go out to play and shop for out weekly groceries at the SUPER CHINA MART...haha..really super..they have everything there.

The community where i stayed.Nice rite...got swimming pool,gym,a lake with ducks..

We love going for buffets as well.Very cheap food.around 6USD can eat till siao..

Me and my lovely housemate, suhui shopping at walmart for groceries....Walmart is opened 24 hours de leh!!

Road trip to Zion National park.It is nice for the 1st 5 mins.We all will whoa..OMG..and start snapping photos...after 1 hour...everything is kind of sian to me.haha..maybe i not that into nature.

The pizza is so huge lah...had to eat pizza for 3 days in the row to finish it.But then it is really yummy

Las Vegas is the furthest i travelled frm utah.Lots of shopping there.Pity i didn't get to go to the casinos and watch the shows.

All in all,it is a wonderful experience.Glad i get to know these wonderful ppl :)

when i was USA,i fell terriblely ill with high fever ,so much that i have to be admitted to hospital for 1 month...so dear frens pls take care of your health wherever u are...

When i was sick there are alot of ppl who took care of me.I am really really thankful for this group of frens.My mum even fly over to take care of me.I am still very confused right now due to my long stay in hospital.Juz everyone to know that I am really appreciative of all that u all have done.Ppl here like my roommate suhui,my working partner xinhui,malcom,ramnik,choonlin,weihong.............and many more...i really dun know how to thanx all of them.....it meant so much for me to have frens that supported me through my ordeal. I have received letters as well...but i am not sure when it is sent,who it belong to so if it belong to u pls come claim it frm me yourself kay.

And if i had lost temper to u all...i am truly sorry for that period of time...it is cos i am very tired or i am confused again or i am in terrible pain and dun know wat is going on.

Now that i am out of hospital(hopefully with a clean bill of health,which i still have to get some blood test to check later in the day), i have been thinking wat i really want in life....it seem to me that I am given another chance to live again.Do u all know that I even attempted suicide when I was in hospital??U all have no idea wat happen to me...i basically went mad....but i am truely grateful that i am living now,and i realise how much i love my family and frens,although i never show them or tell them that i do.Ppl u all should treasure and love the ppl around u kay...they are all good ppl.oops...i think i am being confused again...i dun know how i should put it into words.

SUMMARISE:live life to the fullest and treasure those around u.

I might continue to study to nurse my health,or maybe go into teaching,or try looking for job(u all heard abt the 100% retrenchment in my company...economy issit too good in the manufacturing sector)

after getting the results we(meijun and me)went home to rest b4 heading to mambo...it was super crowded lah..the q was so freaking long...but we manage to squeeze in..hehe(secret tactic)..i felt so sorry for sarah..she couldn't manage to fake through with us...anyway the dance floor was soooooooooooooo crowded,no space at all to do the mambo moves..hardly enough space in the dance floor...and the music that nite was disappointing...think the change the DJ..most songs are pop..think we are out-dated,maybe these are the songs youngsters prefer..haha..

brought sharon and ede around jb for seafood fest..haha..then we started talking abt the ppl we know..and it is such a small world lah...most of us are interconnected some way or other...i seem to know their frens through some other links like school bus,tuition classes,fren's gal or boyfrens...whoa.....the world( or Singapore) is indeed so small....haha...

July is a meet-up times with love-ones and frens b4 leaving for US...hehe...Monday i am going to bring some ppl to go-kart at permas...hmm...some things i need to do for myself too,

get a really short haircut (cos US cut hair very ex)
get face creams and body lotions ( if not will have fish scales)
buy a few keep warm clothes (i dun wan to freeze in US)
start to pack somethings (dun postpone liao lah....i hate packing)

I am stuck in singapore till tues due to the visa application...so i decide to list out some things which i must settle:

bank loans
HP ( to suspend or keep?)
work matters

hmm...i dun know wat else but seems like i will be kept busy in July wit all those admin stuff...when i have to go down to the bank or some government office i realise the big responsibility of a "working" adult...last time when u are a student,there is no need to worry abt bank loans,this application that application blah blah blah...i think it is tiring to do all these stuff....takes up so much of your time ( nearly 1 day) for something so insignificant...

bunking in...and finally internet connection

due to my visa application i am bunking in szewei's hse till tues...the past few weeks have been a living hell cos there is no internet connection and my brother refuse to fix it cos his exams are coming....

anyway this i will summarise wat had happen...

results day:on D-day met up wit some very free programmers for bowling and dinner...then we nervously check our results on 12 mid-nite...i was quite disappointed with my honours actually..although i did well in my 3rd and 4th year..i think my 1st 2 years had pulled me down alot..this makes me regret having too much fun in the 1st 2 years...bleahs...

ktv:photos yet to be uploaded..haha...one of meijun's fren can really sing...she can even sing jap leh....really should introduce her to jac and sarah(both of them r arashi fans)

After which,we meet janie after her work for a belated bday celebration for her

jc clique gathers at tea ceremony...yet to upload photos(so christine u got to be patient)haha...cos of the failing internet...

anyway..i forget wat else happen but i remember finally fixing my international liscence,getting the visa interview ready,few trips down to the company ,shopping for some working clothes ,movies and dinners blah blah blah...

1 specific day i can clearly remember is on 14th june(mum's bday)...me and my brother bought a little cake to celebrate for her..cos we really no money...but she got angry for no reason,saying we dun appreciate her...me and my brother were stun...dun know wat we did wrong...so the nxt few days(nearly 1 week) was a living hell,with no internet,mum not talking and still having a fiery temper...

this makes me wonder...is not that we dun love or appreciate her...is juz that being born in a chinese family it is wierld to say those"i love u mum"take care of your health,dun work so hard""shall we go for a movie?"i mean we do care and are concern abt our parents,but it is wierld to say it out...but i think when we dun say those things out...ppl tend to think u forget them ...haiz...i love my family and hope to be able to bring them for a holiday,bring them to spa this and that..but then i think at this time it is hard...

anyway my brother is still having exams,so while i am in singapore i am still able to be contacted through msn...haha...when i am back in jb..i have to rely on sy to check on my emails,blogs or watever regulary...sianz...

It is always said"Programmers unite as 1"...so inorder to teach 8incredibles(a grp) a lesson for secretly having a private dinner...we(those very free ppl)decided to catch them red-handed and teach them a lesson..haha

Dinner was at a curry udon jap restaurant...i never like udon..so had unagi rice ( the onli non-udon food) instead..It was nice catching up with some ppl who i never see since they grad..of cos there is always some juicy updates..haha

After which we went to Alfie's pitstop cafe...whoa..i played till my voice hoarse..think is cos i get excited very easily..so keep shouting..haha..Haojie even say i was a squeaky wheel(one of the "imagine if" game..)

Overall it really feels good to catch up with old frens who has been through the horrendous sports camp days yah..with the muds,sleepless nites,washing canvas sheets days..i think when all of us starts working we will miss those good old days..haha..i am starting to miss sch days even b4 i start working...

On tues i brought Meijun to shop around in jb,on weds sy brought jialiang and alex over and i brought them shopping too...i realise that there is a big big difference between shopping patterns of gals and guys..

For gals, we like to try out every clothes/shoes regardless we are going to buy or not..thats y gals shop for very long, but might not buy many things mah.haha

For guys,they just try out the things they want to buy,usually they dun wan to buy anything..as they say they come to JB onli to eat,buying is optional.For gals on the other hand,1st piority is to shop,we dun mind to starve..interesting isn't it..

Gals go to shops selling bags,clothes,shoes...Guys go to shops selling DvDs,posters,comic books, and most importantly food..

The hotel we stayed in...we stayed in the quad suite room..really really big and nice :)

The gals at smokehouse(another much nicer hotel)I invited huiling to join the trip

the guys aka our bang-galas throughout the trip,cos they have to carry all the stuff for us...thanz alot guys,and esp chris for pointing the torch and helping me during the night trekking,haha..if not i will roll down to dunknow where liao...

sixeff!we have known each other for ages...i have known szewei (extreme right)since primary 1,oh..btw,she is the official photographer for the trip,taking up to 200 plus photos *applauds,shall grad the photos frm her soon...i have less than 10 in my camera,shows how lazy i am..haha.Sookfen who helps with all the lodging arrangements and return tickets,and the 2 bang-galas,not only they are "dark-skinned"due to tennis,haha..they are strong too

the highlight got to be the night -trekking...walking in broad day light on even ground i already tend to be quite accident-prone le...so night-trekking up the very very steep highlands is life-threatening for me...nevertheless, it was a enjoyable trip :)

I am feeling rather down recently cos of my 2nd brother's case(which i cannot be bother talking abt it)..anyway..when i watch the news today..there are disasters happening around the world-cyclone in Mynmar, typhoon in US,recently the earthquake in china..i just can't help but feel sad for those ppl suffering over there, at the same time,those problems that i am having now seem juz so minor...insignificant..

I feel that ppl living in Malaysia are really a lucky bunch..so wat abt those slow lousy traffic,does it really matter??Is the inefficient immigration officers really bothering u??well, i am one of those who regularly complain and grumble abt the unfair political system,the act-blur police,the kopi-money officials...but today i realise all these dun really matter...

Hope those ppl will get help asap.

Dun be deceive..when i say the grad nite was good...it was bad...the food was bad,the atmosphere was bad..the hotel is Quality hotel,same row as Hotel 81 and fragrance hotel..the buffet was a spread of meesiam and friedrice,onli 2 choices of drinks: 7-up and coke...Sy is laughing his head off when i pose a thumbs up..haha..

The 3 slack gals who onli turn up for quizzes...but we do listen deligently to online-lecs.

The slack and not so-slack ppl..at least they turn up for important lecs so we can get those important info...kudos to them

Table 9 will grad will flying colours..woohoo...

I received a mystery present when i went back home over the weekends...A lactose sailor bag and some nike clothes..haha...no idea who give de...

Moved some of my stuff back home..monday is the presentation,tuesday is the mse grad nite then weds noon have to return hall key...and i still have the fridge and some stuff...Well,at least i still can move my things back home, wonder how those ppl living further away like KL,penang,china going to move their things..

yippee...finish my last paper in NTU.Went out with Meijun ,Janie for a big big lunch to pamper ourselves...the photos are with meijun..will grab them frm her if she upload them.Haha..she had a camera with her cos she went to watch Mayday concert,went to see Ahshin from Mayday at IMM, and even want to sent him off at the airport!!!all in the midst of exams...all applaush to the die-hard fan!!I admire her energy sia..she was sick and still went to the concert(cos she dun wan to waste money as she bought the most expensive ticket)..haha..although i am not a die-hard fan of any grp or singe, nxt time u go concert jio me kay..so i can feel your energy..

Monday is going to be my presentation...it is very rush as i have less than 1 week to prepare the slides,go through with my mentor and prof, and at the same time, i have to move my stuff out of hall...and I have ALOT ALOT of things to move out...also i have to shop for a dress for the MSE Grad nite :)So much for wanting a long break after exams..think have to wait to after presentation le.yeah yeah...hope my presentation will go smoothly :) I am so looking forward to golf this sat...never play for such a long time,hopefully i still can hit the ball.

After my polymer physics paper, we (me,meijun and janie) decide to reward ourselves with sakae sushi in NTU...Yeah..u read correctly..sakae sushi in NTU.Not onli it is more spacious than the outlet near Jurong Point, they have teppanyaki,a cosy corner with those big cushion sofa and cute "frog"bedroom slippers u can wear...NTU is like a shopping centre Basement 1(where all the food outlets are) lah...we have Mac,SUBWAY,old changkee,California pizza,SAKAE sushi,a new air-conditioned food court and the usual canteen A!!!whoa...i must go try all the new outlets b4 i grad lah...

On the side note,my brother kena suspended from his BBall team due to lousy CA results..whoa..he was really sad lah..i mean u trained for 1 year just for the competition..then have to be suspended...i think he is feeling disappointed as he had let down his teammates...how are they going to find a replacement at the last min?and they have trained 1 year with him.

I remember during my SYF malay dance i tripped and fell on stage...after the dance i was pratically crying my eyes out.Not because i feel sorry for myself,but because i felt that i let my members down..wat if because of my clumsiness we never got the gold medal...lucky we got gold loh..if not i will surely hate myself for falling at the crucial moment...so i can completely understand how my brother feel...haiz..but even talking to the principal and all his teachers, they still firmly stick to the decision cos they felt he really need time for his study..

Sometimes i think the society now place too high a emphasis on results le..shouldn't we do the things we like??Life is unpredictable u know...study study study...get good results ,get a job...so wat??are u feeling happy abt your life??are u doing the things u like?Wat if one day u found out u onli have 1 day to live..will u regret the way u live your life??If i were the teachers,i will not suspend my brother..haha..cos i feel that we should do the things we really like,not the things we have to...cos life is short..u never know wat will happen in the future rite??So let him do the things he enjoy doing lah..of cos not drugs or watever...i mean Bball..is a good sports rite??Is results that important...maybe it is..in today's society...

embrassing day and return of FYP

As i mentioned, i helped to usher in Christine's biobiz event.Whoa...I am impressed by her, she has to entertain the Managing Director of some of the biggest biotech companies in Singapore...if i were asked to do her job, i think i will be lost for words..dun know wat to talk to these big shots ppl.And she actually gave an opening speech to the whole auditorium of ppl!!!haha..i have jelly legs giving presentation to a tutorial class liao.I took a picture of her giving speech..but too small liao..cos i was really ushering at the very back of the auditorium. Well done gal :)

The most embrassing part came in the later part of the event when I went out to introduce myself to the dean of my sch ( he was suppose to give a speech) and I lost my footing, tripped, and NEARLY tumbled down the stairs!!!!!!! SUPER EMBRASSING LAH!!!I wanted to bury myself after that...haha..well, at least i think i leave a deep impression, although i am not sure if it is a good one.Having to wake up at an unearthly hour of 630 am for the event..i was dead tired lah..and there was a terrible jam..they still searching for Selamat...go back to singapore lah..got shelter,food..so good rite..dun make ppl jam anymore lah :(

Huiling bought the sony errisson HP.5 mega pixels!!here is peichuin with the devil hair-clips..haha..very cute rite...she got a very nice haircut lah..very special..is not obvious in this pic,maybe i will show a clearer pic nxt time cos the unique style is behind...I like it so much that i immediately went to cut the next day..haha..the photo clear rite..5 mega pixels hp leh..dun play play.

The hairdresser she introduced very lihai..touch my hair then know i use head&shoulders shampoo."gal, u used head and shoulders rite...hair so hard.."sobsob..so ppl dun use the shampoo,make your hair dry and brittle..

And my prof returned my 1st draft on SUNDAY 8AM!!!so early on weekend sommore..can u all imagine how early he woke up on a WEEKEND to edit the report...maybe that is the difference between successful ppl and normal ppl. Normal ppl like me will wake up at 12 pm unless there is a must to wake up early on weekends...haha...chiong final report now..lots of quizzes, and then exams coming out...all the best ppl :)

unexpected happy day

i received a call from IM flash when i was out watching movie 1000 BC with SY today, telling me that my training will be extend to 1 year instead, and i will be leaving on aug...which is good cos then i can attend my convo.But then all the while, i thought i will onli be getting $50 allowance a day during the US training...so i was worry and wondering how can i survive..

But, JUST NOW...30 mins before this entry i was talking to Olivia..I onli realise i will be getting the basic pay on top of the allowance.CAN U ALL IMAGINE???its like strike 4D lah...from $50..to much much more..although is not much..but then is a big big difference..( i am still not sure abt it, so i will confirm with the HR tml) :) :) :)from a pauper to millionare feeling...that is how i feel...but still i will miss home terribly...

I am still not sure if she is correct though...so better dun keep my expectation too high.

Anyway, the movie was great, i like those type of movies that show the olden times,i would prefer if it is a true story..hope one day someone will invent a time machine...haha..really would like to know how it is like to live in the victorian days where girls where such thick clothes,do olden chinese really fly here and there like they show on tv??

Oh,IZ actually msged to ask if i was bloggin abt him in my last entry abt this guy who keep complaining that his life..haha.Apparently he is upset and feel that i very hypocritic cos i never tell him straight all these years..no lah..i not talking abt u...the difference is if i know u very well i will just say it straight to your face..but if i not close to u or only know u for a few days, usually i cannot be bothered..haha..juz listen loh and dun expect me give u a heart to heart talk even though i feel strongly abt wat u say.But i think it is a good post because it reminds me to stay positive.Maybe when I feel sucky, i will read it and at that time i will be person A and that post will be a slap for me to wake up..

Came home on thursday...long jam lah...aiyo..i purposely come home b4 5 thinking i can avoid the working crowd...but it was still jam all the way to marsiling mrt there...

Friday was Elvin's bday celebration at his chalet house in Kulai..the house very big loh..haha...think is good to see the usual sixeff ppl there,although sookfen cannot join us.

Hmm..planning for grad trip is hard, I am leaving on 2nd June for USA for work /training...and FYP presentation is on 5th may,MSE dinner on 6 th may...so i can onli go for a short trip as i would like to spend more time at home before i leave for USA for 6-9 months.Hmm...but where to go leh..most of them are planning for taiwan...but then last year i went le leh..sommore spend nearly 2 months there...and travelled all of taiwan alreadi.No point going back to the same country rite??Meijun was saying go to Japan..but then we dun know how to speak japan and it is really expensive, some were saying Aust....angmog country for grad trip and then off to angmo country for 6 months!!!!OMG...i dun like to eat bread...so..dun wan to go angmo country for so long...so wat is left?? I have been to Korea,HongKong,Taiwan,Aust,Shanghai.hehe..actually been to alot of places liao.Maybe I will just go for a short pulau trip :)

I finally submitted the soft copy of my FYP report..haha...this week was really busy,writing,editing,formatting,doing last min experiments so that the report will link...blah blah blah...I am glad it is over so that I can finally settle down to study for exams...i haven even start any of the online lectures yet...Oh..and i got Prof Lance Li for my FYP examiner...Lisi was saying he is a santa claus...hope he will feel generous on 6th may.haha.

On the side note, there is this person, A who i dun know that well but likes to complain to me how his life sucks,how lonely he feel...blah blah blah...being the polite me, i juz smile and say"well,that is life"because i do not want to be drag into this long lecture of how lucky he is blah blah blah...since i am very free now, i will write down what I have in mind to his many complaints,hopefully one day the message will get across to him.

A: life sucks,dun u think so?

me: nope, i think my life is great, and i think yours is too.Because both of us are healthy,alive and kicking.I hope you wake up,look at the world around u, ppl are dying of cancer, those national dragonboaters who are so young and passionate about life but just drown in the blink of the eye, ppl at war,ppl fighting against some incurable disease....yes...wake up and count your blessings!!!be grateful that you are at the bliss of your health.

A: I feel so miserable,i have no money, i want a rich galfren, u got anyone to recommend??

me: go die lah...like i will introduce my galfrens to u so u can live off their money...please, u got arms and legs u dun know how to work har....galfren give u money to spend u feel happy meh...have u no pride??okok..maybe u mean it as a joke...but then u keep telling everyone to introduce you rich gal hor...u dun feel paiseh one har...If u want to live happy, and be rich, please depend on yourself, not pin your happiness or life on anyone.

A: u do FYP u dun feel sian one meh...i really think it sucks

me: whether u think FYP is sucky or not, u still have to do it..so quit complaining and do lah!!

Ok...the main point i am trying to bring across is, if u are a healthy normal person who thinks your life sucks, u are a self-pity idiot who has no idea how lucky you are compared to those ppl who are suffering from wat ever disease.To me, the greatest thing is to be healthy and living.

Well well, I am not angry at this person or wat...but i really think he should stop indulging in self-pity,pls the world still revolve whether u think your life suck or not.

Life is good even when I have to do FYP, but is even better when I have completed it:)haha

Busy recess week

Recess week is suppose to be relaxing..no lesson, no quiz,no nothing...but then it is not true...FYP needs to be rush,quizzes need to be study...whoa...i spend my recess week in sch doing FYP,studying for biomaterials quiz,of cos some exercise,movie,shopping,relaxing...but then recess week is really spend doing work...haha...oh..met the girls to celebrate christine's bday on 29th feb :)

Had dinner at tao's restaurant for the lunch price..haha...is a 7 course meal..really really full..the waiters there are too friendly i think...keep talking when they refill the cup...but then we got extra ice-creams and dessert and starters....haha..yumyum.

My golf apparently improve abit bit..haha...the coach keep asking if i got practice or not...i juz smile and say abit loh...alamak..think he can tell i only practice during his lessons...oh..and i drove peichuin to the pelangi range..haha.thankyou for beliving in me gal..had trouble parking though..cos there is a wedding dinner at the range also..had to ask peichuin to help me do the parking...so ppl..if u are not afraid to take my car,i will be glad to give u all a lift so that i can practise driving around as well....but then u all have to provide me the directions...cos the problem with me is that even though i am confident abt my driving skills...i dun know the directions lah..dun know how to go from one place to another...and i might need help in parking..haha:)

I think march is a busy month for me and all of u as well...jiayou jiayou..

CNY was busy...usually i spend my cny at my uncle's place with all the uncles,aunties and cousins.we eat,talk,gamble,watch movie,watch tv....for 3 days...then it was back to sch le...

Last friday brough some sixeff ppl to grapevine..is a nice place...1st time there though...it has quite cheap western food...the chicken with rice and bake rice cost abt $9,rid-eye steak around $23...and they have quite a variety of drinks..like alcohol,cocktails...i like the mango smooties..is like a open-air pub.If u like a relaxed place for food and drinks..i would recommend this place :) Grapevine opp upper serangoon shopping centre.

On sat I have my 1st golf lesson with Huiling and peichuin.Whoa..very tire leh...got a aching back after the lesson...cos have to bend down most of the time...not as fun as i thought it would be...well..but then maybe not use to the posture cos 1st time playing...

Sunday was a JC gathering at Eugene's orchard apartment...whoa..i think very nice place lah..played a game taboo??dun know how to spell..anyway 1st round was NTU Vs NUS ppl..haha..NUS ppl was thrashed..then it was girls Vs guys...tough fight..the guys won by 2 points.very funny game lah...esp when stef start talking louder and louder when we juz couldn't guess wat she is saying...

Fyp dateline is drawing close..and CAs are approaching as well..time to get serious at work...

CNY chalet @ pasir ris on Sat...lots of food...and the lau yu shen...i dun know where the yu shen went lah...haha...caught jacq on TV...she was on the Sheng shiong variety show...so exciting when I saw her on TV lah..haha..never expect her to participate in this type of show de...

Paper plates are placed around the Yu sheng in the effort of savaging wat ever that is left...but still..there is barely a mouth full left for everybody....wonder where the BIG plate of Yusheng went...

There is also a lucky draw at the end of dinner..haha..the prizes are pretty interesting...ranging frm sponges,new year cookies,MJ set,Bak kua......

I won a stack of plastic cups and a red ang bao..haha

It was actually a belated birthday celebration for IZ on tues..but then we got organisers he bought frm Hong kong!!hehe..so nice...i have been searching high and low for a cheap,chic,good organiser that has the monthly schedule so I was really happy when I saw the organiser fit all the criteria i want :)

As u all can see..the cake is really very small..haha..not that me and jac are stingy kay..dinner at cuppage ramen really too full liao(the serving was enormous lah)..the 3 of us cannot finish the little cake loh...

Our organisers frm Hong kong leh..Singapore never sell i think..Jac got the Xiao ding dang de..i got the Mickey mouse one :) It is so useful lah...Before I got the organiser, I have to hand-draw my own monthly schedule...so unpro..

Yippee..so I can dun draw the ugly monthly schedule le :)

I played squash with Lisi on Monday as she had lots of time to spare till some career talk...Playing squash with her was fun cos i think we are both equal in the game.If i played with chris,think he will find it quite boring as he always have to hit the ball to me cos i am quite lazy to run,and i get to hit difficult shots to him but he cannot hit trick shots cos i sure cannot get de...haha.Playing with SY has the most running..he is the cunning player that uses trick shots and make u run everywhere around the court.Huiling will play in a way that allows us to run the minimal and play the maximal :)

Meijun stayed over with me on Tuesday cos this poor gal have to stay in sch late for FYP...we watched the countdown in Taipei( on laptop of cos)...whoa..they have so many singers over there lah...do u all know the singers that performed in Singapore 2008 countdown??bet u cannot name more than 3..Countdown in Taipei got Jolin,Show,Mayday,Fish....so many lah..sing along to some songs we know also...till nxt morning i think i lost 30% of my voice.

Weds is a very suay day for me arh...Meet Calvin and Adrian for lunch at NIE cos Calvin say got some very nice things to pass to us.NIE to me is like 1Km away frm my lab..anyway i went back to my lab after lunch..Lab was horrible that day lah.My lab works like this : After depositing the CNTs i have to check with the microscope besides me.That microscope was spoilt that day..haiz..So I have to climb up and down frm level B3 to B1 every 20 mins...Then after 3 hours of lab I realise my file is not with me leh!!!so I brisk walk 1km(seems like the distance I walked to me) to NIE canteen and searched....cannot find*sobs walk 1km back to lab...search the lab frm level b4 to b1...finally,I found it at the SEM lab...ARGH>....So that day i walked a meaningless 2 km to look for something which is never meant to be there...Haiz..I was soooo tired that I skipped my Yoga dance lesson as i think i had enough exercise for the day..but how can i forget to mention the very nice thing..hehe :)

hehe...nice leh...hand made de wor...Calvin spend like 45 mins to make..the letter in red is P..looks abit like O..well..but still very nice:)

Thurs had dinner at Billy Bombers with SY using the lucky dip ticket.hehe...the time he won Fish and Chips meal(worth $17.90) for the next visit lah...i onli won a pack of playing card(worth$5)...

Friday is more lab...lucky the microscope is fixed liao loh..if not i think more exercise...then home..pity i couldn't join the sixeff ppl for movie and drinks..heard funny things happen to them when they are drunk..haha.

The weekends are shopping for CNY!Finished my shopping for clothes and shoes le.Yippee..can't wait to get my stockings frm Janie(she got good bargains for stockings) tml.Oh..btw..stockings in S'pore are cheaper than JB leh...Jb sell RM 23..S'pore sell $8.So if anyone of u interested should buy in S'pore.

Over the week...is of cos FYP..haha..wats new..oh..i took up Yoga dance..thinking to quit liao..cos it is soooooooo very boring..twist here and there and hold the position for 5 mins...alamak..played Badminton wit SY,Ah bear n Jessica,had steamboat-teppanyaki dinner with the 12-in-1 multi-purpose pot we won at MSE day lucky draw..hehe..is the 3rd prize.Oh..and the weekend we had a celebration for Sarah in JB.Had dinner at Ajisah,a Jap restaurant..apparently the food is so-so,and watched a super boring movie-Sweety Todd..or dun know wat..hehe..so thats abt it :) I am becoming lazy to blog le..haha..i think i will juz summarize everything every week.

Sch starts...nothing interesting...every day i go school to have my lec/tutorial then lab..lab lab...then fyp..fyp..fyp...such simple life..haha...last weekend some old scprogrammers came to JB.We hang around at City square,went to jusico,go-kart and had dinner at the same old sri terbrau market.

Over the weekend,the Woodlands Secondary School Ohh la la gang decided to meet up.It is like our annual meeting cos that yeesing one year onli come back to JB once lah...But sadly onli me Peichuin and YeeSing can make it.Cos Ailin is working in KL,Suyin is FYPing in Singapore and Suhanniya is missing in UK.We had a buffet lunch at Shougun Japanese Restaurant.

Anyway..Ohh la la gang is the grp of frens i hang out with during secondary school.haha..we are the most erm..naughty?Silly?un-civilised?( I dun know wat words can descride us lah..)grp of gals.The gang consist of : peichuin,yeesing,ailin,suyin, suhanniya and me. We are so bad that out of so many of us rite..onli suyin is a counsellor aka the "good student".haha.I think suhanniya is the most bad among us lah..then i last time very suay arh...sit beside her and her jokes always make me laugh till i cannot control during class...And is not like once a week leh...is like 2 or 3 times during one lesson...Yah..she has that many jokes to tell..Of cos our teachers dun like us lah..thats y we are not "good students" mah...haha..Hmm...i dun know where i put the Ohh la la CD le..I will get it frm peichuin and post some of the silly photos we took if i can get hold of it.

Met up with Christine,xiuyun and jacq for dinner at MOF.Hmm...if u are wondering who they are..well they are my JC kakis...I think i should do a short introduction of them..wait nxt time i old liao...forgetful liao..dun know who they are..maybe this entry will refresh my memory :) Lets start frm the extreme left..after me of cos.

Xiuyun : She is the most mild-tempered among us liao.I remember once i was suppose to meet her for some shopping..I was an hour late loh..but then she still never scold me leh..aiyo..make me feel so bad.Xiu yun seldom..i think never angry loh.She is the slow and steady kind of gal who knows what she wants in life and works hard to achieve her dreams.

Jacq: Aiyo..this one is a siao chao bo lah...haha..it is always fun to be with her cos her jokes really damn funny...and she very li hai imitate ppl de.But then dun see her siao siao, she has a mind of her own too..and is firm when it comes to getting what she wants.Play can play till siaosiao..but when it comes to serious things hor..whoa...she really gets things done.

Christine: A great fren who listens to her fren's problems and never fails to go out of her way to help.She also very sentimental de..will make those small small cards to encourage us or cheer us up.So sweet rite?haha...if i make i think u all rather i buy rite..cos my DIY(Do it Yourself) is CMI(cannot make it).She is also a very sensible gal and a very "sharing" person,as in she will really tell u wat she feels and how things should be done for her fren's good, so the advices she gives really very zai.

I got a msg from a long long lost fren...Eric..we used to carpool during primary school with Sarah,xiao jun and natalie.Anyway..Eric went to China during primary 4 and we all lost contact...till today.I was shocked when i received his msg..anyway we decided to meet up for dinner.

Sarah and me dun recognize him at all...we were guessing to see which guy is Eric...I think we dun recognise him cos he erm...grow bigger??haha..i dun know..last time he very small size and then we used to call him cry-baby so...i was surprised that he grew so muscular..we thought it will be an awkward outing..but luckily it was fun :)PK and ZS joined us for dinner also..i was surprise to see them.. as Eric onli told me Sarah is going..but lucky we have those jokers around.

Well, we had dinner at sweasons and a nice time recalling the silly things we do in primary sch.To summarise:

1) ZS drawing of the Anti- Penguin(me) and Anti-Pei tai tai cards...and the horrible things they did to gals
2)PK hiding the canes frm Mrs Seto (our english tuition teacher)
3)the car pool times
4)Mr and Mrs Chee tuition class

and lots more.. haha..is really fun to keep in touch with such old frens and to think back the silly things we do when we were young :)

Year 2007 has come to an end....had a wonderful countdown at Chris's hse with some sixeff ppl...Zs and I brought curry chicken,Chris make very nice fried -mashed potatoes and szewei brought chicken pie which we never got to eat cos too full liao...Huiling brought mahjong tiles(to play not to eat)

Pity that no one took any pictures..haha...oh..btw I am always fascinated by how some ppl even post pictures of the white rice they eat...whoa..really bring camera everywhere they go meh>>*applaud...i dun think i have the patience..maybe i am erm...not that into details??haha..i doubt this blog will last long too if it is too mafan to blog..i think i will juz stop.yah..if u know me well enough u will know that i am the type of person who avoid mafan at all cost..haha..but well,lets see how long this blog will last...

For the year 2008,I hope :
1)to be more sensitive to others' feelings and needs (some ppl say i very slow in reading other ppl mood or feelings arh...cos i everything also nevermind doesn't mean other ppl everything also nevermind...hmm..ok..shall take note of that and improve =) )

2)double,triple...aiya..work hard for the final sem (think I have not been really hardworking for my uni years leh....like having more fun then study)

3)but i shall still enjoy my final sem as a student( aiya..last sem dun play work liao where got time play)

4)to get a job I hopefully like and pays to at least keep me alive

think that is about all...resolutions cannot be too many...if not dun think will fulfill also...ok..Hope all of you will have a fabulous year filled with love and happiness =)
